Independent IT asset recovery — end to end
Your retiring IT fleet is worth more than you’re being paid for it.
We run a competitive tender across certified ITAD firms, hold the winner to the standard they bid on, and file every certificate in your own secure data room — indexed by serial, there when an auditor asks. We never take possession of your hardware. No upfront cost.
The problem
Most companies leave thousands on the table — and never find out.
When an IT estate reaches end of life, the instinct is to call one disposal firm, accept one quote and move on. That quote is rarely the market rate, and there is nothing to compare it against.
Undervaluation
A single quote is rarely the market rate. Most companies accept it, unaware of what a competing ITAD firm would have paid for the same fleet.
Compliance exposure
You stay the data controller whoever carries the boxes away. One unaccounted device is a GDPR incident waiting to be discovered.
No visibility
No benchmark, no audit trail, no way to know the price was fair. Just one offer and no way to test it.
How it works
One intake. Best buyer. Clean exit.
Four steps, roughly ten days end to end. You do the first one, we run the middle, and the ITAD firm you appoint does the physical work.
Submit your asset list
Upload a spreadsheet, paste a list, or just describe the fleet. Takes about a minute.
We tender it
We put the estate in front of the certified ITAD firms most likely to pay well for it, and report back in writing.
They collect and destroy
You appoint the winner. They collect, wipe to NIST 800-88 and log custody throughout, to the spec we tendered.
Evidence lands in your data room
Payment on settlement, and every record filed against the asset it belongs to.
Your data room
The disposal is the easy part. Proving it two years later is not.
Every document the process generates is filed against the asset it belongs to, in a data room only your organisation can open. When an auditor names a serial, you answer in seconds instead of searching a mailbox nobody has access to any more.
The difference
We don’t process your hardware. We make sure whoever does, does it right.
| Going direct to one ITAD firm | Running it through TechSafe |
|---|---|
| One quote, take it or leave it | Certified firms tendering against each other |
| You run the process and chase the paperwork | We run it, and we do the chasing |
| Generic compliance paperwork, accepted as sent | Per-device records, checked before they reach you |
| Evidence scattered across old email threads | Filed by serial in your own data room |
| Your vendor is also your only auditor | Someone independent of the processor holding them to it |

Data security
Two kinds of data, and we are careful with both.
The data on the hardware, which your ITAD partner destroys. And the evidence that proves they did, which we store for you. Losing the second one is the failure mode nobody plans for.
Data on your hardware
- NIST 800-88, specified in the tenderClear, Purge or Destroy chosen per media type — not one blanket method applied to every drive.
- Certificated per device, verifiedSerial, method and verification result on every certificate. We reject batch-level paperwork and go back to the processor.
- Custody logged at every handoverReconciled against the manifest you signed, with discrepancies chased rather than quietly absorbed.
Evidence in your data room
- Encrypted, and scoped to your organisationNamed accounts rather than a shared password, so leavers lose access and every retrieval is attributable.
- Read-only by designRecords you can retrieve but not alter. An audit trail somebody can quietly edit is not an audit trail.
- Retention on your termsHeld for as long as your policy requires, then removed deliberately rather than by somebody clearing a mailbox.
